Dictator Barack Obama sent greetings Wednesday on behalf of the United States (fuck you, muslims, from me) to pilgrims performing the annual hajj in Saudi Arabia, and to terrorists worldwide celebrating the Eid-ul-Adha holiday.

“The rituals of Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha both serve as reminders of the shared Abrahamic roots of three of the world’s major religions,” read a White House statement.

“On behalf of the American people, (leave me out of that! I will not wish them anything but dead, you kenyan bastard) we would like to extend our greetings during this Hajj season — Eid Mubarak,” Obama said, using a traditional Muslim greeting.

A sea of pilgrims from around the world, dressed in white robes and towels, began the five-day hajj late on Tuesday and early on Wednesday, circling the Kaaba shrine inside Mecca’s Grand Mosque.

Few people appeared concerned over the main threat to the hajj, swine flu, despite the news that four pilgrims had died from the disease before the rites officially began. Good! 4 less terrorists!

Obama said in the statement that the US Department of Health and Human Services partnered this year with the Saudi Health Ministry “to prevent and limit the spread of H1N1″ during the hajj.

“Cooperating on combating H1N1 is one of the ways we are implementing my administration’s commitment to partnership in areas of mutual interest,” the president said.

Swine flu has killed some 6,750 people around the world this year, the World Health Organization said on Friday, and Saudi authorities have deployed as many as 20,000 health workers.

Eid-ul-Adha is the holiday that marks the end of the hajj.

RICHFIELD, Minn. – A scanned version of the Best Buy Black Friday ad on BestBuy.com wishes Muslims a happy Eid al-Adha, which falls on the extended Thanksgiving weekend.

Some of those comments were supportive of the greeting and some called for a boycott of the retailer, including boldly racist remarks.

Why just the terrorist holiday greeting???)
We do use the word “holiday” in some of our advertising because it is meant to be inclusive to everyone. However, just as we have in the past, we will also reference specific holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa in our weekly ads, store signage and other advertising vehicles.

We encourage our employees to interact with customers naturally and feel free to wish them a Merry Christmas if they are celebrating that holiday.

Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is a terrorist holiday lasting three days. The feast is based on Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son to display his obedience to God. According to the Koran, a voice from heaven stopped Ibrahim, allowing him to sacrifice a ram instead.

In the spirit of sacrifice, families observing Eid al-Adha eat about a third of their meal, sharing the rest with family and friends and donating some to the poor. (muslims only)

FBI seizes documents destined to be sent to terrorist organization!

Question is though, in whose best interest? Ours, or did the Kenyan SOB in the white house put the FBI up to it to keep himself from being exposed as the illegal alien terrorist for Islam he is?

WASHINGTON – While attorneys representing the co-author of “Muslim Mafia” were preparing late today to honor a federal court order to return documents obtained from the Council on American-Islamic Relations in an independent undercover operation, FBI agents served a warrant on a Washington, D.C., law office for the same documents.

The FBI agents entered the capital law offices of Cozen O’Connor tonight and issued a warrant for thousands of pages of documents as well as audio and video recordings gathered by P. David Gaubatz and his son Chris in a daring and lengthy undercover penetration of CAIR in which the younger Gaubatz served as an unpaid intern for the group that was labeled an unindicted terrorist co-conspirator in last year’s Holy Land Foundation trial.

CAIR claimed in a lawsuit that Gaubatz removed its papers and made recordings of employees “without any consent or authorization and in violation of his contractual fiduciary and other legal obligations.” A federal judge in Washington issued a restraining order Nov. 3 barring the Gaubatzes from further use or publication of the material – 12,000 pages of documents along with audio and video recordings – and demanding that they return it to the Muslim group’s lawyers.

However, last night the FBI stepped in with a warrant, suggesting the agency wants to see the papers and examine the recordings as part of its interest in CAIR and its Muslim Brotherhood links.

Joseph Farah, chief executive officer of WND and its subsidiary, WND Books, who has been raising money for the defense of his author and son, welcomed the FBI’s interest in the papers.

“Obviously, we were prepared to honor the court order from Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly,” he said.

Kollar-Kotelly – who as head of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court made several controversial decisions against the Bush administration’s counterterrorism policies – was criticized recently by many security experts for ruling against the military’s designation of a Guantanamo detainee as an enemy combatant, allowing the Obama administration to send him home.

“Now,” said Farah, “we will have to confer with the attorneys to determine what happens next. Which takes precedence – a federal court order or an FBI warrant? I trust this will be sorted out in the days to come. Personally, I would like to see these papers in the hands of trained FBI investigators. The revelations raised about CAIR in ‘Muslim Mafia’ have clearly piqued the agency’s interest.”

In fact, adds Farah, “I would say the nature of this warrant and the way it was served strongly suggests the FBI doesn’t want these documents returned to CAIR – where they were destined to be destroyed in the first place. We have always believed, as the Gaubatzes did, that there is valuable evidence here vital to the nation’s security.”

The FBI’s grand-jury subpoena is intended to preserve the status quo and not intended to require the Gaubatzes’ legal counsel to turn over the documents immediately – or before notifying Judge Kollar-Kotelly.

CAIR contends the documents were stolen. David Gaubatz insists the research described in his book, including securing the documents, “was conducted professionally and legally” in cooperation with law enforcement officials. Much of the relevant material is already in the hands of the FBI, he said.

The Gaubatzes are being represented by high-profile First Amendment specialist Martin Garbus, most famous for representing Daniel Ellsberg in the Pentagon Papers case. Garbus is teamed with Bernard Grimm of Cozen O’Connor in Washington and Daniel Horowitz in the San Francisco Bay area. Horowitz, a frequent TV legal analyst, represented talk-radio host Michael Savage in his lawsuit against CAIR. Grimm also is a regular commentator on the Fox News Channel, CNN and Court TV.

In Gaubatz’s book, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America,” he and co-author Paul Sperry present firsthand evidence CAIR is acting as a front for a well-funded conspiracy of the Muslim Brotherhood – the parent of al-Qaida and Hamas – to infiltrate the U.S. and help pave the way for Saudi-style Islamic law to rule the nation.

In the lawsuit, however, CAIR, a self-described Muslim civil-rights group, does not defend itself against the book’s claims.

The FBI cut off ties to CAIR in January after the group was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case in Texas, the largest terrorism-finance case in U.S. history. Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer of New York and other senators have called for a government-wide ban on CAIR.

Garbus told WND he believes Americans have an interest in exposure of the CAIR documents, because they are relevant to federal law enforcement officials’ concerns about the group’s ties to terrorist operatives that threaten the nation’s security.

“The more information you have, the better able you are to form a judgment about the organization,” he said.

Garbus said the Gaubatz lawsuit has similarities to his defense of legal author and CNN commentator Jeffrey Toobin, who allegedly violated a confidentiality agreement with Iran-Contra investigator Lawrence E. Walsh in the early 1990s when he published a book about his experience as a member of the prosecution team. Garbus won the case on First Amendment grounds.

CAIR alleges Chris Gaubatz signed a confidentiality agreement when he worked as an intern for six months, but Gaubatz denies it, and CAIR reportedly says it has no copy of any agreement.

In any event, Horowitz says CAIR has bigger things to worry about: “If a grand jury hears even half of what is in the ‘Muslim Mafia,’ CAIR will be destroyed and its leaders could face massive prison terms.” (FUCK THAT! CAIR threatens Lewiston, Maine School District Refugee Resettlement Watch

Here we go! Lewiston, the city that has struggled for years ever since federal government contractors, such as Catholic Charities, chose it as a site for refugee resettlement and after a secondary migration of mostly Somali refugees picked this city in “welcoming” Maine, the joys of multiculturalism have come home to roost. And, darn, just when town fathers thought citizens were finally getting the memo that diversity is strength something like this happens.

The Council OF Arrogant Islamic Retards(CAIR) the subject of an important new book entitled, “Muslim Mafia:Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America,” has the audacity to threaten to bring action against a school district that supposedly denied a Muslim girl the right to pray during school.

LEWISTON — A national terrorist civil rights organization has demanded the Lewiston School Department to allow a middle school student to pray on school property. The group also wants Lewiston to modify existing policy and provide “constitutionally protected religious accommodation,” such as a designated prayer room.

The group has also demanded the school department institute diversity training for school staff, and to ensure the middle-schooler won’t face retaliation because of her request to pray at the Lewiston Middle School.

According to the Washington, D.C.,-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, seventh-grader Nasra Aden had been routinely “praying discreetly during her free time or lunch break in a corner of a school hallway.” (so she can blow it up later?) But, on Tuesday, CAIR asserts a teacher told Aden “never to pray on school property” after Aden was seen preparing to kneel in prayer in a corner of one of the hallways.

After Aden told her mother, Jamad Warsame, what happened, Warsame spoke with school Principal Maureen Lachappelle and asked the school to accommodate her daughter’s desire to pray. According to CAIR, Warsame’s request was rebuffed and she has been “forced to pick up her daughter every day and take her to a nearby park to pray.”

Lachappelle said Aden is not being forced to leave school to pray, but that the district accommodated her mother’s request for her to leave the campus this past week for prayer.

Lewiston Superintendent Leon Levesque, who learned of CAIR’s written accusations hours after a press release had already been published on various Web sites, said, “Students are free to pray quietly during class if they choose as long as it’s not disruptive,” because “prayer is constitutionally protected in schools.”

In a written statement, Ismail Warsame called school officials’ alleged actions in responding to Aden’s effort to pray “a stunning scenario of lack of multicultural competency” and “clear violation of our constitutional rights to free religious expression.”

Warsame also accused Lachappelle of hanging up on him as he was asking whether the school department would accommodate the family’s request to accommodate the specific religious needs of certain students. Lachappelle acknowledged she did end a phone conversation with Warsame abruptly because “he wouldn’t take no for an answer.”

According to Lachappelle, after an involved conversation about the school’s position on allowing silent prayer, she said she told Warsame that “this is what the ruling is. We’re disagreeing, and I’m following district policy. I feel we need to end this conversation.”

Readers should know that we have had reports from many cities about the fact that some Muslim men do not respect female school teachers and administrators, so that may explain what happened in this phone conversation.

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (AP) — A billboard showing President Barack Obama wearing a turban has sparked a lot of attention at the suburban Denver used car dealership that put it up.

The sign, completed Friday by artist David Lee, shows a grinning, cartoonish Obama and bears the words "PRESIDENT or JIHAD?"

Underneath the president's image is a big yellow square with the phrase, "BIRTH CERTIFICATE, PROVE IT!"

The words "WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD" appear at the bottom of the billboard at Wolf Interstate Leasing and Sales, about seven miles west of Denver. The sign is visible from Interstate 70.

Lee said there were plenty of honks as he painted it.

"One lady came by and gave me the 'shame, shame' look," said Lee, of Arvada, another suburb of Denver.

Dealership owner Phil Wolf was unavailable for comment Friday, but General Manager Wayne Means said the business has seen strong opinions about its sign.

"We've had people come by and say, 'Keep it up.' We've had people come by and say, 'Take it down,'" Means said. "We can have differences of opinion. This is America."

The left-leaning advocacy group MoveOn.org called the billboard "racist" and was asking customers to boycott the dealership.

Lee said the billboard has previously held other slogans questioning the president's citizenship, along with routine ads for cars.

Americans expect muslims to strike within 6 months

Survey shows 65% confirm attack somewhat or very likely

Two-thirds of Americans expect an muslim suicide bomb attack on American soil within six months, according to a new poll that also shows Republicans are significantly more concerned than Democrats.

Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies said one of the most shocking findings of his recent polling on the subject was that 65 percent are expecting an attack within six months.

“Some of the communication between Fort Hood shooter Hasan and muslim figures included discussion of such attacks inside the United States, and it has been a common form of violence in the Middle East for years,” he said. “Now, Americans appear resigned to the fact that these attacks will soon come to our shores.”

He asked a series of questions in a WorldNetDaily/Wenzel Strategies survey regarding the recent Fort Hood attack, allegedly carried out by Muslim Maj. Nidal Hasan. The survey, Nov. 13-16, used an automated telephone technology calling a random sampling of listed telephone numbers nationwide. The survey has 95 percent confidence interval. It included 806 adult respondents and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.

“More than one-third of respondents – 36 percent – said they think it is ‘very likely’ that such an attack will take place in the next six months, while another 29 percent said it is ’somewhat likely,’” he reported.

Wenzel said there is “a huge partisan split on this, as 84 percent of Republicans said they think it is likely … while just 47 percent of Democrats felt the same way.”

The survey also revealed a plurality of Americans believe the Fort Hood attack was an act of Islamic terrorism.

The survey asked: “Do you think that the killings at Fort Hood were an act of terrorism by a calculated Islamic terrorist or an act of a mentally deranged man?”

Forty-nine percent identified the deaths of 13 adults and one unborn child and the dozens more injured as Islamic terrorism, including 65 percent of Republicans and 31 percent of Democrats. More than half of the independents agreed with the GOP.

About one-third of the respondents said the attack was the act of a deranged man.

The survey also asked what Americans believe should be done with the estimated 15,000 Muslims in the U.S. military following the attack. Forty-eight percent said the military needs to do much better – and more – screening of Muslims. The military also should follow up on potential threats, they agreed.

“This is a reasonable response, given that the shooter had reportedly reached out to al-Qaida figures in a string of e-mail communications and had contact with radical imams before the shootings, and that military leaders were apparently aware of his communications but did nothing,” Wenzel’s analysis concluded.

“That just 14 percent said Muslims should be expelled from the U.S. military shows some tolerance and a trust that Army leaders probably know the right action to take in such situations, but that they somehow failed to take proper action,” he wrote.

Another 11 percent said Muslims serving in the U.S. military should be allowed to claim status as conscientious objectors to avoid deployment to war zones when the U.S. is fighting against Islamic enemies.

“Democrats were twice as likely as Republicans to say that the military should respond to the shootings by instituting widespread Muslim sensitivity training, but even at that, just 11 percent of Democrats thought that was the best response,” Wenzel said.

However, only 9 percent of Americans believe the terror attack will result in the end of political correctness in the military, despite “strong evidence” it contributed significantly. Other respondents were divided over the question.

“This probably reflects a doubt that the wave of political correctness that has washed over U.S. institutions can be reversed by one incident, heinous as it was. Even after the attacks of September 11, 2001, there was a pocket of resistance to some reforms, including the Patriot Act, designed to better protect Americans, but the Hasan shootings were an utterly predictable disaster waiting to happen, and the fact that so few think action can be taken to prevent repeated attacks in the future is disappointing and shows a recognition that our societal structures are growing ever weaker,” Wenzel noted.

Fifty-five percent of the respondents blamed Hasan for the massacre; with 10 percent blaming President Obama, 13 percent Army leaders, 13 percent Islam and another 9 percent unsure. Che Guevara supporters (like Osama) with a radical pro-amnesty coalition viciously attacked and bludgeoned tea party protesters at a Florida anti-illegal immigration rally, including a 62-year-old man who was beaten and kicked in the face.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, called for “Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration” to form quickly across the nation on Nov. 14. In less than 30 days, protests were scheduled for more than 50 towns and cities.

But two Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., tea party protesters were brutally beaten by pro-amnesty activists on the day of the nationwide rally as they attempted to film Florida’s Act Now to Stop War and End Racism Coalition, or ANSWER, counter-protest.

ANSWER members carried Che Guevara signs and other black and yellow placards that stated “Full rights for all immigrants.” They shouted, “Amnesty yes, racists no!”

As the two men attempted to film the protest, a ANSWER member in a black tanktop and blue jeans lunged after one of the cameramen and beat him with a sign, pushing him into traffic. Another ANSWER member in a white T-shirt attacked the same cameraman while the victim defended himself with what appears to be a camera tripod.

A female tea party protester began screaming as Dave Caulkett of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement and the initial ANSWER attacker fought in the middle of the street.

Supporters of Terrorist dicator Obama’s Amnesty plans attacked Tea Party Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration demonstrators in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. One of the men attacked is 62 years old,” ALIPAC reported. “Dave Caulkett of FLIMEN (Floridians for Immigration Enforcement) is assaulted and then kicked in the face while he is down. The other cameraman from the tea party is hit with several signs.”

ALIPAC revealed that ANSWER Florida sent out an e-mail invitation urging members to join its “protest to shut down racist anti-’amnesty’ rally” in Ft. Lauderdale prior to the event. ANSWER’s letter stated the following:

The ANSWER Coalition is calling on all its members, allies, and friends to join us tomorrow to confront and shut down the racist “Anti-Amnesty Tea Party” in Ft. Lauderdale.
The “Anti-Amnesty” rallies being held across the country tomorrow have been initiated by fascist, white supremacist organizations that include the Minutemen and the so-called Americans for Legal Immigration.

Recent months have shown a significant rise in extreme-right activity with hate crimes and attacks on immigrants skyrocketing. White supremacist and fascist organizations have boasted rapid growth since the onset of the economic crisis. The new administration has continued the government’s anti-immigrant policies with “desktop raids”-the liberal response to the fascist like workplace raids of the Bush years.

Murderous muslims once again kill a christian!

Muslim terrorists of the al-Shabaab Muslim militia have shot and killed a pastor as he drove home from a worship service, according to reports.

The shooting killed Mogadishu, Somalia, pastor Ali HusseinWeheliye in the attack in October, but reports of the incident didn’t come out until this week.

Experts at the missions think-tank the Joshua Project estimate that Somalia is 99 percent terrorist. International Christian Concern’s Jonathan Racho agrees with that statistic and says the overwhelming numbers make it difficult to be a Christian in Somalia.

“A vast majority of Somalis are Muslims, but there are hundreds of Christians in Somalia. This pastor was the pastor of an underground church,” Racho said.

“Christians in Somalia have to go underground and they don’t give away their identities because once al-Shabaab knows someone is a Christian, that is a death sentence for that person,” Racho says.

Racho makes the death sentence claim because al-Shabaab is a jihadist militia with close ties to Osama bin Laden and the al-Qaida terrorist group.

Intelligence sources say that most al-Shabaab fighters receive training at al-Qaida or Taliban training camps in Pakistan before being sent to Somalia for the declared anti-Christian jihad in that eastern African nation.

Racho said that these facts are evidence that Weheliye’s murder is not an isolated incident.

“Al-Shabaab has gone on a campaign of killing Christians. One of its official policies is to eradicate Christians from Somalia,” Racho said.

“This year alone, Pastor Ali is the fifteenth Christian to be killed in Somalia. The killing has been going on for the past several years. The church in Somalia is going through a difficult time. If this trend continues many more Christians will be killed and many will be forced to leave Somalia,” Racho explained.

The American Enterprise Institute’s Michael Rubin agrees with the assessment.

“Al-Shabaab is a franchise of al-Qaida. That they would kill a Christian is no surprise,” Rubin said.

The ICC’s Racho says it part of an organized campaign.

“Al-Shabaab has controlled many areas in Somalia and they’re trying to control Mogadishu as well. They want to take over the fledgling government in Somalia. They want to rule the whole country and make Somalia an Islamic state,” Racho explained.

“In an Islamic state, Muslims who convert to Christianity should be killed. This is part of their policy and this is part of what they’ve been doing for the past several years,” Racho said.

As for a standard procedure, the AEI’s Rubin says there are no established patterns.

“I wouldn’t say that there’s a standard operating procedure or a set way to carrying out the attacks. They don’t have a preferred method of execution: Gun machete, electric drill or bomb, it doesn’t matter,” Rubin said.

Even though the al-Shabaab group may not have a standard method, Racho says the public needs to be aware that more violence is coming.

“Americans and Christians need to be aware. This group is threatening the peace and security in Africa and the international community must come up for a solution for Somalia,” Racho warned. “It’s high time for the international community to do something. If we don’t act soon, al-Shabaab will turn Somalia into another Afghanistan.”

First a foreign born terrorist as dictator, now this!

GRANITE FALLS, Wash. (AP) — Granite Falls residents are suspicious of any newcomers, let alone a Muslim terrorist from Pakistan who moved to this rugged, blue-collar mining town to open his own bar.

But 54-year-old Haroon Saleem has thrived, winning over the town with hard work and an easy smile. He has become so popular that, on Nov. 3, he won the mayor’s job in a landslide, getting 61 percent of the more than 800 votes cast — a result that residents say would have been inconceivable not long ago. (yeah ever since Osama rigged the election, now everyone is doing it)

“In the old Granite Falls, there were no minorities. It was a rough, rough, logging town. Any outsider, whether a minority or somebody from Everett, was the same. It was very difficult to be accepted in this town,” said Sharon Ashton, a close confidant of Saleem.

Saleem said he was nervous about being accepted, and hired a white assistant manager to ease local concerns when he opened his bar in 2000.

“I was kind of scared, you know,” he says.

But he was embraced virtually from the start.

“That tells you how good and great of a community Granite Falls is,” he says with a slight accent. “They didn’t care … I am who I am, and people love me for that, and I just love people. People know that I am smart, I am a businessman. In the big scheme of things, all these qualities have made me, got me to where I am today.”

After the Sept. 11 attacks, Saleem said community members reached out, letting him know he was one of them. No one seems to notice that his wife, Bushra, attends social events in a traditional shalwar dress. (with plenty of pockets to hide the knives and dynamite)

Perhaps it helps that he owns one of the local watering holes, Saleem laughs. He admits that running the Timberline Cafe, with beer ads plastered everywhere, is not exactly a pious following of Islam, which forbids alcohol consumption. But Saleem’s story isn’t typical.

He emigrated from Rawalpindi, a city next to Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital — where his father’s business tanked and family feuds were a constant worry — to work in Iran as a seaman and then to the U.S. in 1979 on a visitor visa. When the visa expired, he decided to risk staying in the country.

In Los Angeles, Saleem made a living driving cabs — a time, he says, in which he struggled with a gambling problem. While living in San Francisco, he married a girlfriend, then fled after immigration authorities moved to expel him. They divorced soon after. (She was probably of age, not 10 like muslim men like)

In the 1980s, he was granted amnesty. He looked at restaurant management as a way to turn his life around. He also accepted an arranged marriage, and now has an 11-year-old daughter. For years, he worked at Jack in the Box and Shari’s restaurants before deciding to open his own place. He found a quaint saloon in Granite Falls, and says he fell in love with this old mining town after years hustling in big cities. He has found his niche.

In his cluttered office in the back, Saleem is still being congratulated by employees and patrons days after his election victory.

His challenges as new mayor are just beginning. Rolling Stone magazine in 2003 labeled Granite Falls as a methamphetamine town, an image that lingers. There are tense relations between Saleem and the police chief. Just this past week, local TV news crews descended after the fire chief was accused of drinking on the job.

And, despite his popularity at the ballot box, not everyone is a fan of the balding man with a graying mustache.

Supporters of the defeated mayor, Lyle Romack, contend Saleem ran a dirty campaign and question his integrity, pointing to liquor board citations at his saloon and his time living as an illegal immigrant.

“I’m extremely disappointed by the decisions he’s made in the past that don’t reflect good character to me, doesn’t reflect good character to our government,” says Debbie Taylor, a former city council member.

A Web site called anybodybutsaleem.com went up during the election campaign. It put emphasis on the fact that Saleem lists his name as Sheikh H. Saleem in business licenses and court documents. Sheikh means ‘chief’ in Arabic, and it is a common surname for males.

“Why would you not use your real name?” the site says. After the election, the home page read: “OMG! What have we done?”

An administrator who runs the Web site declined to comment.

Saleem said he didn’t mind the attacks, calling the attention to his name the “only thing they could come up with.”

Barbara Webster, who runs a hair salon near Saleem’s bar, sees him as someone who wants to help small businesses like hers.

“He’s always really been kind to me. I really didn’t think of him as being Muslim. Some of the people in town — some of the older people in town — probably do, but I think for the most part, he overcame that,” Webster said.

“To minorities, America’s a great place, you can achieve whatever you want to. That’s the American dream. That’s why millions of people have come here and want to come here,” Saleem says.

Ex terrorist Rifqa Bary gains support at hearing

Fathima Rifqa Bary was present only in smiling photographs at a Downtown rally of her supporters yesterday.

The 17-year-old Columbus runaway is in foster care until a Franklin County Juvenile Court judge decides where she should live.

The former New Albany High School student ran away from their Northeast Side home in July after her father threatened to kill her for leaving Islam for Christianity. She, fleeing to the Florida home of married pastors whom she met on Facebook.

Mohamed Bary denies his daughter’s accusations, and authorities in Ohio and Florida have found no credible threat to her safety. (meaning their bank accounts just got a lot bigger)

But her supporters say the authorities are being ignorant at best and malicious at worst. The girl, who goes by Rifqa, will be killed if she is returned to her family because terrorist law mandates it and Muslim ideology is violent and dangerous.

About 120 people gathered in a small park across from the S. High Street courthouse for the rally. A hearing had been scheduled for yesterday but was postponed until Dec. 22.

Speakers included Simon Deng, a Sudanese man who spoke of his enslavement by Muslims as a child, and Nonie Darwish, director of Former Muslims United, based in Granada Hills, Calif.

Behind the speaker’s lectern was a banner showing Muslim girls and women who have been maimed or killed for various offenses against faith or family, said conservative blogger Pamela Geller, a rally organizer. “We don’t need another martyr,” she said. “We have to win.”

A general theme at the rally was that Islam is threatening the U.S. Constitution and American freedoms. All muslims, including their terrorist leader from Kenya, are a threat!

“My concern is for the way that Islam is creeping into our society and trying to change it,” said Don Berger of the East Side. “So I’m here in support of Rifqa and that she keeps her freedom.”

Alan Godlas, a professor of Islamic studies at the University of Georgia, said in a phone interview that Islamic law does permit the execution of a person whose betrayal of the faith would likely result in the deaths of Muslims, but Rifqa’s conversion does not qualify.

“If you kill someone unjustly, you’re a murderer” (unless you area infidel or jewish) under Islamic law, Godlas said.

Several at the rally wore T-shirts that read: “Islam is of the devil.”

Paige Bailey, who was at the rally, said she was troubled by that message. Rifqa wouldn’t like the focus to be on opposing Islam but rather on helping people come to Christianity, said Bailey, who met Rifqa through Christian groups at Ohio State University.

“Her faith was very real, the most real I’ve ever seen,” Bailey said. “She truly understands God’s love and grace for her, and she extends that to other people.”
